Permit to Work
A Permit to Work (or “Plant Clearance”) is a best practice for ensuring the plant is safely handed over from production to maintenance, and that residual hazards are communicated and adequately controlled.
Isolations
Positive isolations ensure that all potentially hazardous sources of energy are managed and kept isolated while non-routine work takes place on the plant.

Mobility is used check on the status of a permit in the field to be able to verify the status of work taking place, or that of an solution, and communicate this efficiently back to the permit office or the control room.
